The land area around North Creek (and smaller streams that run into North Creek) make up the North Creek Subwatershed. The North Creek Subwatershed (shown in red on map, left) is part of the Vermillion River Watershed (shown in blue).

Land and water in this area drains to North Creek. The North Creek Subwatershed is almost fully developed. The North Creek Watershed Total Maximum Daily Load Evaluation for Fecal Coliform Bacteria (Glenn, ) was the initial technical study developed by the Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) to verify the existence of the bacteria problem and provide a basis for future water cleanup efforts in North Creek.

The Washington State Department of Ecology initiated a Total Maximum Daily Load for fecal coliform bacteria in North Creek, in south Snohomish County. Dry season concentrations higher than those in the wet season suggest that there is a continuous, steady component to the pollution loading.

Bookstore at NorthCreek Church. Station is located near the mouth of North Creek on the upstream side of the freeway bridge. Water quality samples have been collected monthly at this station since Inthe County began collecting water quality samples at an additional site on North Creek (D) located at the bridge on NE th near th NE.

The creek is part of the North Creek Subwatershed District as defined in the City of Lakeville's Stormwater Management Plan. It is part of a 12, acre watershed where 46% of the watershed is located in Lakeville, 45% lies within the city of Apple Valley, 5% lies within the city of Burnsville, and nearly 4% in Empire Township.

Library Times and Location. The NorthCreek Library is open before, between North Creek watershed book after services on Sunday mornings.
